Travelers who are either American or coming from other eligible countries must
apply for an authorization through the ETA-IL system. Check below to know more about it.
Your ETA-IL is valid for up to two years or until your current passport expires – whichever happens first. If you issue a new passport or change your name, gender or citizenship, a
new authorization you will have to be issued.
Even if you issue an ETA-IL, it does not guarantee your entry permission in Israel.
The Electronic Traveling Authorization allows you to arrive at Israel’s border, but does not
concede permission to either enter or reside in Israel. At the border, you will be inspected
by a border control officer, who might grant your access to Israel
Note: Israeli citizens or holders of Israeli identification documents do not need to apply for
an ETA-IL.
A passport from American (or from an eligible country) that is valid during your stay;
a valid e-mail address; a valid payment method such as Visa®, Mastercard® or American
Express®, Paypal or Pix for the R$89,00 application fee (you will not be refunded after
applying).
Fill the ETA-IL application form. Make sure the information you provide are exact.
Pay the R$89,00 fee.
Send your application.
As soon as your application process is finished, we will contact you through the e-mail
address you provided.
Most applicants get an instant reply. In some cases, it may take up to five business days. If
you don’t receive a reply, check your e-mail inbox, spam/trash box or contact us.
If your ETA-IL application is approved:
We will send you an e-mail with your ETA-IL number, the starting date along
with the terms and conditions. Keep a copy of that e-mail with you throughout your stay in
Israel.
If we have additional questions:
– We will send you an e-mail and explain how you can provide the information
we need.
If your ETA-IL is denied:
We will send you an e-mail with the status of your application and advise you
to contact our customer service to get further information about it.
*In case your ETA-IL is denied, please do not send new applications before contacting us.
A new application will not affect your result.
