Having an ETA-IL allows you to stay in Israel for up to 90 days per visit for a two-year period. If you plan to stay longer than 90 days or if your purpose is other than tourism or business, you must apply for an Israeli visa at the Israeli Embassy of your country.
You could receive a reply within 24 to 72 hours, however the process might take up to 5 business days.
Your ETA-IL is valid for multiple visits within a two-year period starting from the date your application is approved or until your current passport expires, whichever happens first. This means that, as long as you have received an ETA-IL, you won’t have to apply another time during this period.
Yes. Any person, regardless of age, that arrive at Israel coming from Brazil or any other eligible country, must apply for an ETA-IL. A minor cannot apply for an ETA-IL independently, so an adult must apply on their behalf. In the form, the adult applicants may identify themselves under “occupation”.

An ETA-IL allows you to enter Israel for a period of 90 days. In case you intend to stay for longer than that, you must present a formal request for extension at the Israeli Embassy in your country. It is not possible to get this request for extension on our website.
Applications must be sent at any moment before your trip to Israel. The Population and Immigration Authority recommends you apply at least 3 to 5 business days before booking plane tickets, hotel rooms and any other extensions related to your trip to Israel, and at least 7 business days before the departure date.
If you issue a new passport, change your name, gender or country of origin, you must apply for a new authorization. There is an R$89,00 fee for each new application.
You may correct your application as long as the form hasn’t been sent, yet. The final step of your application before sending allows you to review the information. After sending, you will not be able to correct mistakes in the form, which means you will have to apply once again and pay another fee.
If you want to study in Israel, you will need a student visa. For shorter study programs, of up to 90 days, you may apply for an ETA-IL.
Having a valid ETA-IL does not guarantee your entry in Israel. All travelers who arrive at the border will be subjected to border control rules. Border officers may deny access to any person who is not authorized to enter Israel in accordance to Israeli Law and procedures.
It is not required to print the e-mail confirmation, but it’s advised to have the confirmation number with you, or a printed copy of that email.
An ETA-IL is valid for two Years or until your passport expires, whichever happens first. During that period, your ETA-IL may be revoked for immigration or safety reasons, and you will be informed on your e-mail.
Airline companies don’t usually request a printed confirmation. However, we are not responsible for any rules and policies that each company may apply, therefore it is advisible to have your confirmation number with you at all times or a printed copy of your confirmation.
Yes. Travelers who hold a biometric or non-biometric passport may apply for an ETA-IL.
No. An Israeli citizen or permanent resident that holds a valid Israeli identification document does not need to apply for an ETA-IL.
